HeART Haven was born from two like-minded, artsy ladies who became fast friends and knew they needed to share their love for art and creativity with others. We love to elevate our events to experiences with yummy themed foods and beverages, beautiful décor and fun giveaways. Our hope is that these events inspire you to discover your own inner artist and realize what incredible abilities you already possess. Come create with us!

 

Julie Battles is a Santa Cruz transplant, as of 2017, and a California native. She resides in Watsonville with her husband, Jason, and 4 stepchildren. She is a soon-to-be mama and being an RN at Dominican Hospital is her "day job". She enjoys exploring the Sierra Foothills, trying new art forms, good books, large cups of tea, playing the harp, travel, being a hostess and spending quality time with friends and family. She loves to learn and share knowledge with others. 

 

 

Kristi Doak is mama to three kiddos, other half to Josh and runs her own business, Bloom & Bestow. She left her previous career as a dental hygienist to pursue a creative life and never looked back. Her heart's desire has always been to inspire creativity in others and bring joy and beauty to people's lives. She loves books, movies, gardening, entertaining, family time, pumpkins, fall, horses, fluffy animals, camping, escaping to the mountains, traveling, baseball, creating, a good cup of tea and all things magical. She is a Santa Cruz native currently living in Corralitos and she never stops learning!
